MyFareWill is an online will-creation platform operated from Canada. We help individuals create legally formatted Last Will and Testament documents through a guided digital wizard. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

Account dataName, email address, password (hashed by Clerk)Authentication and account management

We do not collect: social insurance numbers, credit card numbers (handled by Stripe directly), or biometric data.

5. Data Storage & Security

?Data location: Servers located in the United States (Supabase/AWS infrastructure)
?Staff access: MyFareWill staff may access data only for support or legal compliance, under strict internal controls

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and will data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where required for legal or tax compliance (typically 7 years for financial records).

7. Your Rights (PIPEDA)

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to:

?Know how your information is being used
?File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies only � those required for authentication (Clerk) and security. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser but this will prevent you from logging in.

9. Children's Privacy

MyFareWill is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
